Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
ShiftPay: Shift Calendar & Pay ("ShiftPay", "the app") is a work calendar and pay estimate app published by Spun Develop. This policy explains what data the app stores, what data is sent to third-party services, and what choices you have.
Data you enter in the app
ShiftPay lets you enter shift templates, calendar entries, hourly rate settings, currency preferences, overtime settings, reminder settings, language and theme preferences. This data is stored locally on your device. ShiftPay does not operate a custom server that receives your calendar, pay settings, notes, exports or backup files.
Feedback you send
If you use the in-app feedback form, ShiftPay sends your selected feedback type, message, app version, app language, theme mode, current app section, platform and submission time to Google Firebase Firestore. Please do not include sensitive personal information in feedback messages. Feedback is used to triage bugs, understand product ideas and improve the app.
Exports and backups
When you create a CSV export or backup file, Android asks you where to save it. The file is written to the location you choose. If you later share that file with another app or cloud provider, that provider's privacy policy applies.
Firebase Analytics
ShiftPay uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage and improve the app. Analytics events describe product interactions such as app opens, screen views, calendar navigation, feature usage, settings categories, export success or failure, and notification permission results.
ShiftPay does not intentionally send Firebase Analytics your hourly rate, pay amounts, exact shift dates, template names, calendar names, shift notes, backup contents, CSV contents, email address or phone number. Some device, app and approximate diagnostic data may be processed by Google as part of Firebase Analytics.
Firebase Crashlytics
ShiftPay uses Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and serious errors. Crash reports may include app version, device model, operating system version, stack traces, timestamps and diagnostic information useful for fixing bugs. Crash reports are not used to recover your shift calendar or pay data.
Notifications
ShiftPay may request notification permission so it can remind you about upcoming shifts. Notifications are optional. You can disable them in the app settings or in Android system settings.
Ads and consent
ShiftPay may show ads through Google AdMob and may use Google's User Messaging Platform to request or manage advertising consent where required. Ad-related processing is handled by Google according to Google's advertising and privacy terms. ShiftPay does not intentionally share your shift calendar, hourly rate, pay estimates, notes, template names, backup files or CSV contents for advertising profiles.
Third-party services
ShiftPay uses Google Firebase services and Google AdMob services. Google may process data according to its own privacy, Firebase and advertising terms. You can learn more at Firebase privacy and security.
Data retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or restore a backup that replaces it. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is retained according to Firebase and Google retention settings. Feedback submissions are kept while they remain useful for support, product planning and bug triage.
Children
ShiftPay is not directed to children under 13 and is intended as a productivity utility for work scheduling and pay estimation.
